Synopsis :
Peter Bretter vient d'être largué par sa copine, Sarah Marshall, vedette TV. Pour se changer les idées, il décide de partir à Hawaï. Malheureusement pour lui, son ex a eu la même idée. Plus humiliant encore, elle est accompagnée pour l'occasion de son nouveau petit ami, une star du rock, et se retrouve dans le même hôtel, dans la chambre voisine…
